SECTION 14 – WARRANTIES AND RETURN OF GOODS
All goods are supplied with a limited warranty that they are fit for purpose as per the Sale of Goods Act (1979) as amended. If an item is received that is damaged or in any other way unfit, then please contact us direct. We will not accept any returns without prior authorisation.
Should an item need to be returned The Doggie Boat will advise where and how to send it. In the event of a faulty or damaged item we may, at our discretion, choose to send a pre-paid label for your use.
Certain items may have an additional warranty over and above that required by law. Such warranties are provided by the manufacturer, to whom any claim should be directed. The manufacturer may choose to advise you to return the item to The Doggie Boat rather than themselves. In this case, the item must be returned at the customer’s expense.
We strongly advise that if you return any item, then a tracked service should be used. We cannot initiate any refund or exchange until the original item is received. Please note that Proof of Posting will not be accepted as Proof of Receipt. Should a returned item not be received by The Doggie Boat, then you should claim from the courier involved.
SECTION 15 – INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless The Doggie Boat and our parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, officers, directors, agents, contractors, licensors, service providers, subcontractors, suppliers, interns and employees, harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, made by any third-party due to or arising out of your breach of these Terms of Service or the documents they incorporate by reference, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third-party.
